Managing Director and Principal Consultant
Mr. Kansanga is the Principal Consultant and Managing Director of HS+E Consulting Ghana Limited. He holds an MBA in Leadership and Sustainability from the University of Cumbria, UK as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management. He is also pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental, Health and Safety Management. His competence also extends into Advanced Lead Auditing according to ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. He holds other various professional credentials in the areas of occupational health, safety, environment and quality management. He is a member of the Ghana Institute of Safety and Environmental Professionals (GhISEP).
He has fifteen (15) years of consulting experience in environmental management as well as occupational health & safety fields in the transportation, mining, manufacturing, construction, agricultural, energy as well as oil & gas industries. He has been involved as a Lead Consultant in public funded environmental and social assignments to meet the requirements of international organizations such as the World Bank, IFC, USTDA, OPIC, Standard Chartered, Vital Capital and African Development Bank Safeguards policies. He has also been an integral environmental and social expert in multi-disciplinary teams on major national projects funded by the international investors, Ghana Government, DANIDA, World Bank, MiDA, IDA, Vital Capital, among others over the period. He has issued numerous technical and consultancy reports.
He has also led several ISO Management System assignments for small, medium and large-scale clients in the service, manufacturing, logistics, transport, food processing and energy industries. He has been a key expert in several certification, internal, gap, safety and environmental audits including LOPA, HACCP, etc. He is also experienced in contemporary Behavioural and Value Based Safety (BVS/ VBS) techniques. His international consulting and research experience spans across the West African sub- region.
