Project Summary

Project laydown designs were reviewed to guide construction risk assessment of the site taking into consideration all sub-contractors (about 4) on the site. Management plans and safe work procedures were developed to guide management of the identified health, safety and social risks and environmental impacts. Health and Safety Officers of the various Contractors and the Client HSE Officer were trained to implement the System including record keeping. The established Construction Environmental and Social Management System (CESMS) was also required to meet IFC and World Bank environmental and social requirements.
