Project Summary

The project involved review of proposed railway designs and alignment in relation to the existing baseline environmental and social conditions to determine the feasibility of the proposed project including recommendations for Kumasi-Offinso route selection as well as managing critical environmental impacts and social safeguard/ health/ safety risks. It also involved consultations and reporting in line with World Bank and IFC environmental and social safeguard requirements.
